About us
The Dalton Estate is owned by the Hotham family the senior family member is The Lord Hotham (the eighth baron and eighteenth baronet). Lord and Lady Hotham moved out of Dalton Hall in 2007, and their eldest son William then moved in with his wife.
The estate is run by the land agent, Simon Fairbank, who is a director of Savills (L+P) ltd and has been at Dalton Estate since 1994, his assistant agent is Tom Wallbank. The rest of the office comprises the office administrator and secretary - Lynn Leech, the Financial Director and accountant - Caroline Atkinson, and her assistants, Angie Hazel and Lizzie Murdoch -, and Richard Blanchard - the Clerk of Works who runs the Estate Yard property maintenance and refurbishment department. Lee Davies is the Works Foreman and in addition there are the 4 builders (Sean Donkin, Vlodymyr Bybyk, Philip Williamson and Richard Adamson ) two joiners (Neil Donkin and Ian Donahue), and plumber (John Smith) and we also sometimes employ sub-contractors.
